Weir building almost done looks like Jabba the hut's palace (kinda)
Buildling is coming together, Just need to finish my roof. The problem in the foreseeable future tho will be the windows, as i can see there is not an app for a curved window
Michael Leong Post Dec 11
So, i couldn't do much since sketch up wouldn't respond and if i kept trying i would blow a gasket before it would finish. At least i got some windows in, it can't be all that bad, right?

Cylindrical Skyscraper
This is a screenshot of my cylindrical skyscraper standing next to a very rough sketch of Daniel D'Amato's Camber building. Dan's building stands at 1,080 feet. As you can see, my skyscraper is, "BANANAS" big as Mr. Ford would say, as it stands at 3,456 feet.
D'Amato's Camber Building Windows
Here I have been researching and manipulating the face of my building trying to create windows. Mr. Ford and I have been having trouble coming up with a solution to the window creation.

Michael Leong post 12/4
Started the painful task of adding windows to this thing, and added the concrete parts of the building. With any luck this will be done within a couple of weeks.

Daniel D'Amato Window Generation
I have started to create windows of my building. Unfortunately, i'm not quite sure how to generate windows on a curved surface without individually alining them on the skin. I have found a plugin that allows you to generate windows onto a surface but it is not google sketch up.
concave
The Concave is beggining to work with the Soap Skin and Bubble add on. The windows, and more details will begin to start soon.
New building
Even though this is a very frustrating building to try and put together i somehow made a similar design to my velum cousin.
Domweir lighthouse sketch up prototype
My Prototype of my light house, it looks like nothing yet but oh ye of little faith. Just wait and see!!!!

Dan D'Amato's Camber Building
Here Is the skin of the Camber building. The demotions of this building are proportionate to the ones of actual size. The next step is to generate windows and floors.

Current version of Ford Skyscraper, looking in to how to develop a consistent window implementation plan.
Cylindrical Skyscraper
These are a few different approaches I have made to make my cylindrical skyscraper. Let's just say Google Sketchup is a challenging program.

Cylindrical Skyscraper
This is the cross-section for my cylindrical skyscraper, which just happenes to be a prison. Each cell (little squares on bottom right) is 10x10 feet. Mr. Ford and I calculated that each floor will hold approximately 2000 inmates. At 3,456 feet tall, this prison will hold an imense amount of prisoners.

Cross section update (Damato)
This is an update to my first cross-section. Without a few details (chairs and desks ect.) this will be the sixth floor of my building .
Leong Finished cross section
It isn't pretty but i got it done. I also need to note that the scale for the cross section is different from the exterior aspects of the building. The exterior uses 10 feet to an eighth of an inch while the cross sections use 5 feet to an eighth of an inch.

North side of awesome building
The north side of the building has a different design then the other sides it is not completely finished but when it is it will be mind blowing
First cross-section
This is an extremely rough draft of the first cross-section of my building. The sixth floor, as seen above, is full of office rooms. My next cross-section will be of the upper levels where pent houses will be located.
